Just a short note to say a huge thank you to the 440 Quartet…their music and playing at Sarah & Michael’s wedding was quite excellent. Their accompaniment to Marcus & Alison singing was tremendous, we had many, many positive comments – people were simply gob-smacked at the quality of the sound!! And the arrangement of the Lava Song was just great. Their playing int he background during the photographs lent a perfect air to that stage of the proceedings.

The day turned out ot be perfect in every respect; better than we could ever have hoped for and the quartet certainly contributed to that in a big way.

We hired the 440 to play at my brothers wedding as a complete surprise! They were amazing!! Nothing was too much for them! We asked if it was possible to play as the bride and groom left the church – along with the organ. They crept in at the end of the service and surprised everyone – it was beautiful. They then made their way to the reception – due to it being a gorgeous day they were able to play in the garden while the guests were enjoying their welcome drinks. Their repertoire was amazing – from friends theme tune to the game of thrones to pachabels Canon. It was a great accompaniment to their wedding. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for something special. Thank you 440 you made the new Mr & Mrs Jones wedding day a little bit more special!

I was struggling to find a string quartet for our wedding in Oxfordshire that were in budget and played the style of music that we wanted. I was relieved when Liz from the 440 Quartet got back to me to say they were available and were happy to travel from Birmingham to Oxfordshire to play at our wedding. Liz went above and beyond to help us get our playlist just right learning new songs that they didn’t have in their repertoire. They played every song to perfection on the day and everyone really enjoyed listening to them throughout the ceremony and drinks reception. The mix of songs they played around our playlist worked perfectly. Thank you Liz for being so helpful and accommodating, we really appreciate it as it took so much stress out of the process for us. I cannot recommend The 440 String Quartet highly enough for any wedding or event.

We booked 440 Quartet for our wedding to play at both the church ceremony and garden party reception in July 2017 and I can honestly say they were one of our favourite parts of the day. They were professional throughout, arrived in plenty of time and played the most stunning music! The playlist we provided in advance was interpreted beautifully and a number of guests commented on the day and since on how amazing they were. Could not recommend 440 Quartet highly enough, thank you so much for making our wedding that bit more special!!

Thank you so much for the 440 performance on Saturday it was absolutely brilliant. People came away from the concert buzzing with enthusiasm for the quality of your music making. The whole evening was a great success. The balance of the programme was exactly right for the audience.
